Ferry boat routes

You can come to Thassos either from Kavala, or Keramoti. You can reach those two towns by car or by bus.

From Kavala’s port, by ferry boat, you can reach the port of Prinos. This is a route of about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Three or four routes are made every day.

From Keramoti port, by ferry boat, you can reach the port of Limenas, which is capital of Thassos. The route is about 30 minutes. Many routes are made every day, almost every half hour during summer season, or one hour during winter season.

The airport Megas Alexandros of Chrisoupoli, is only a 10 minute drive from Keramoti, and 20 minute drive from Kavala. You can move by taxi as well towards or from the airport.

Thassos has a main ring road, and other side roads, a total distance of 98 km, which cross all the areas of the island. There are many ground roads as well, which grand access to the inner parts of the island, and to areas of unique beauty.
